You’ve probably heard the phrase what gets measured gets improved. Here’s the thing: it’s true. We all measure our businesses financially at tax time (it’s mandated by the government), but when is the last time you measured your brand?
Do you know if your brand is reaching more people or resonating with your customers more this year than it was last year? Do you know if people are more or less likely to say great things about your business today than they were yesterday? What are the top three areas where your customers think your company could provide better service?
If you know the answers to these questions, congratulations! Unfortunately, you are in the minority. If you are like most businesses, you probably want to measure your brand, you just don’t know how.
If you would like to learn how to measure your brand, I am giving a one-day brand workshop on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Brown Deer Golf Club in Coralville, IA.
The workshop will help you learn how to take control of your brand by getting your staff and customers onboard, and teach you how to communicate and measure your brand over the long-term. Most importantly, you will walk out of the workshop knowing exactly what your brand is and how you can market it effectively.
Seating for this event will be limited, so if you would like to be notified when registration opens next week, please send an email to blog@drewschiller.com with “Branding Workshop” in the subject line. Mark your calendars for May 19, and I hope to see you there!
Update: Register for the next Drive Your Brand workshop at DriveYourBrandNow.com.
